Phone us The retreat seminar on creation of new social services in communities was successfully held
On September 27–29 of this year an on-site seminar on the topic "Creation of new social services in the community: strategy and practice" was held as part of the World Bank "Community-based social service delivery" Project.
In the course of the event , all participants made presentations on the progress of micro-projects, which are implemented within the "Community-based social service delivery" Project. In this way, representatives of the communities exchanged experience on the implementation of social service provision systems at the community level, which helped the participants to receive new ideas for improving their own processes of providing services to vulnerable categories of the population.
During the training, several visits were also made to the territorial communities of Khmelnytskyi region in order to acquaint the heads of communities implementing micro-projects with successful examples of providing social services at the community level. In particular, visits were made to the Center for Complex Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities of the Dunayevets City Council and the Center for the Social Services Provision of the Novoushytska Settlement Territorial Community of Khmelnytskyi Region.
Territorial Center of Social Services (provision of social services) "Turbota" of the Kamyanets-Podilskyi City Council was visited as well. A presentation about an effective model of creating a social services provision system at the community level was made for the seminar participants there.
It is planned to hold another on-site seminar on the topic "Practical aspects of the organization of new social services in the community" for specialists of territorial communities participating in the Project in October 2022, to familiarize them with successful practices of providing social services.
