Another outpatient clinic in Kryvyi Rih  has been renovated

Another outpatient clinic   in Kryvyi Rih, was re-opened on November 2, 2022 after its overhaul within one of the Projects of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (USIF), being financed from the grant funds of the German Government through  German Development Bank KfW.  
The outpatient clinic is located on the three-story building, which was built in the 70s of last century, so it has long been in need of major repairs. The premises on the second floor (with a total area of 689.5 m²), where primary health care services are directly provided by family doctors, was renovated despite the war.
Windows and doors were replaced with metal-plastic ones; water and electricity supply networks were replaced; the interior has been thoroughly renovated; plumbing installed; the ventilation system was repaired to renovate the outpatient clinic within "Promotion of social infrastructure development - improvement of rural basic health (USIF VII)" Project. The total cost of construction works and related expenses is about UAH 9.8 million.
Apart from that, a hematology analyzer, semi-automatic biochemical analyzer, centrifuge, patient monitor, 12-channel electrocardiographs, an ECG device, digital stethoscope, nebulizers, tonometers, glucometers, pulse oximeters, infrared thermometers, disposers of medical needles, various rapid tests and personal protective equipment were purchased under USIF VII Project in order to improve medical services, provided by the institution.  
The procurement of medical and office furniture, as well as replacement of heating, water supply and drainage systems of the 1st and 3rd floors was financed from the city budget.
Hence, due to the grant funds of the German Government as well as USIF and local authorities efforts, almost thirty five thousand residents of Ingulets district of Kryvyi Rih were provided with the renovated outpatient clinic, employing 12 physicians and 28 nurses, who can see patients in spacious offices and use a modern medical equipment.

A ceremony of solemn opening of the residential facility was held in Kamianske (Dnipropetrovsk region) on the 1st of October. 15 IDP families got keys from their new apartments. At least the same or even larger number of families will be settled there soon.

The certification body -  DQS GmbH has taken a positive decision on the confirmation of the certificate of compliance of the quality management system of Ukrainian Social Investment Fund with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2015. This decision is registered at the DQS database under number 496642 QM15. USIF quality management system covers the sphere of social projects implementation.
